Check-in with your emotions. Find closure with love and forgiveness.
It may appear to be easier to push your painful feelings aside. But what is gone is not forgotten. Attempting to move forward from a difficult experience without processing the associated pain will not adequately deal with the problem. The memories and emotional baggage won’t disappear but will simply change form.
You cannot avoid the inevitable. Question how you emotionally reacted to a major life experience. How did that response make you feel about yourself? What negative self-beliefs were reinforced because of it? Replace those views with positive emotions to find closure.
